Shango Trio – premiere 08/04/2017 bij Grand Theater in Groningen
Shango Trio is deel van een groter werk dat tot uitwerking komt in een aantal stappen; het is één van de voorstellingen die een voorloper was van de volledige voorstelling Even Worse.
Al deze performances dragen de naam van een Voodoo god. Shango is de god van het vuur, de bliksem en de donder. Het is een compact en emotioneel trio voor drie unieke dansers: hongerig, fit en vol van leven. Vanuit hun achtergrond van cutting edge technische breakdance, hedendaagse theaterdans en experimentele hip hop zoeken ze samen naar een nieuwe, gemeenschappelijke danstaal. Simon Bus, Shane Donovan Boers en Evangelos Biskas laten u alle hoeken van tijd, ruimte en energie zien.

Shango Trio is part of a larger work completed in a number of steps; it is one of the performances leading up to the full-length show Even Worse.
All of these performances bear the name of a Voodoo god.
Shango is the god of fire, lightning and thunder. It’s a compact and emotional trio for three unique dancers: hungry, fit and full of life. Based on their background of cutting edge technical breakdance, modern day theater dance and experimental hip hop, they join forces in searching for a new, collective dance language. Simon Bus, Shane Donovan and Evangelos Biskas show you all corners of time, space and energy.
