Unpunished Youth / Editie Circolo – Festival Circolo, Het Zuidelijk Toneel, ForwArt – 2023
Oorspronkelijk richt Unpunished Youth zich op jongeren van 16-24 jaar. In Tilburg-Noord ontdekten we dit najaar hoe vruchtbaar de ontmoeting tussen jongeren uit de leeftijdscategorie van 13-16 jaar en performers en kunstvakstudenten van begin twintig kan zijn. Nieuwsgierig geworden naar theater
in de acteercursus die Het Zuidelijk Toneel opzette als onderdeel van ForwArt sloten Elisabeth (16), Nida (13) en Firoza (16) zich in het najaar bij ons aan. In ontmoeting met acteur Merlijn, muzikant Pedro, circusstudent Jana en dansstudent Klara werkten zij in 14 werksessies toe naar twee optredens tijden Festival Circolo.

Elisabeth (16), Nida (13) and Firoza (16) joined us in the autumn after hearing about the acting course organised by Het Zuidelijk Toneel as part of ForwArt. In collaboration with actor Merlijn, musician Pedro, circus student Jana and dance student Klara, they worked towards two performances during Festival Circolo in 14 working sessions.
